Everything you need to know about Nyege Nyege Festival 2026

General

The festival is located at Adrift Overland Camp and adjacent community sites, overlooking the Kalagala Falls on the Nile River. It is a riverfront forest resort about 2 hours from Kampala and 35 minutes from Jinja town.

The festival starts on Thursday, November 19th at 4:00 PM and ends on Sunday, November 22nd at 10:00 AM.

Send an email to vendor@nyegenyege.com. Note: Applications must include photos of products, a complete inventory list, and sale prices to be considered.

Yes. A variety of food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available. You are not permitted to bring your own food or beverages into the festival arena.

Yes, the Global Food Village will offer various options suitable for all types of diets.

Yes. ATM and Mobile Money services (including MPESA and forex facilities) will be available on-site.

Yes. First Aid services are provided by the Uganda Red Cross. Alert any staff member immediately in case of an emergency.

Yes, mobile charging stations are located in the main festival arena.

Safe and secure parking will be available for all 4 days of the festival near the entrance.

Tickets

Only use official platforms to avoid fake tickets. East African Citizens/Residents can purchase on MOOKH, and International Visitors can purchase on Resident Advisor.

Prices vary between East African Citizens (Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Congo DRC, South Sudan, Sudan, Ethiopia) and International Visitors. You must present a valid Passport, ID, or Visa at the gate to confirm your ticket category.

Information about single day passes is coming soon.

Subject to availability. Single-day passes may also be available at the gate depending on capacity.

There are no refunds on purchased tickets.

For MOOKH (EA Tickets): Register on mookh.com with your purchase email, go to 'Account/Tickets', and select 'Change ticket name'. For Resident Advisor: Visit ra.co/tickets/resale.

Accommodation & Transport

The venue is about 2 hours from Kampala and 35 minutes from Jinja town. Party buses, taxis, and boda bodas are available. Check our Plan Your Trip page for detailed transport information.

Yes! Talma Camp is located at Kalagala Cultural Center, just 3 minutes walking distance from the festival site. You can book camping accommodation through the ticket platforms.

Terms & Conditions

You must exchange your ticket for a wristband at Check-In. Ticket holders must be physically present to collect wristbands; you cannot collect for others. Wristbands must be worn at all times and allow for re-entry. Tampering with a wristband renders it invalid.

Under 18s are strictly prohibited and will be refused entry without a refund.

By entering, you consent to being filmed or photographed for promotional purposes.

Attendees assume all risks incidental to the event. Management reserves the right to eject anyone not complying with festival policies.
